CSS Standard

T.D. Caldwell Ltd achieves new Industry standard.

T.D. Caldwell Ltd is delighted to announce that we have successfully achieved the new Certified Steel Standard (CSS) for vehicle bodyshop repairers in Ireland with the roll out of the Standard taking place in early 2014.

CSS is a new voluntary standards programme for professional bodyshop repairers in Ireland which incorporates the industry standard technical specification for the process of structural vehicle body repair.  The standard details the minimum requirements for competent personnel, appropriate and well-maintained equipment, suitable repair methods and quality of repair materials and all bodyshops are independently audited.

We undertook to complete the voluntary CSS audit as we feel it is important to clearly demonstrate both to our customers and Insurance Companies that our company is committed to the highest quality and safety standards.

We believe that customers deserve the best service and standard of repairs, particularly when they experience the trauma of a crash repair. The CSS certification will offer customers confidence in that the repairs completed on their vehicle are to the highest standard.
